You want to create a list of topics and subtopics you could imagine blogging about.

You can download my template if you like or create a similar one or you can just use pen and paper.

What sites are you already following? Write them down?

Do you have any special skills or talent? Write those down, too.

What about hobbies?

Next, look into so-called ‘Golden Niches’ or Evergreen Niches. These are niches known to be profitable, where people are known to spend a lot of money.

Proven profitable niches are:

  • Health/Fitness – Think about is weightloss and abs always sell.
  • Relationship/Love – There is always someone looking for love.
  • Money/Finance – Arent we all trying to get rich?

For example, niches I am already following/ interested in are: Blogging, Making Money Online, Health/Beauty, Fashion etc.

I have filtered those down into sub topics.

How To Find A Blog Niche

Now we need to filter down our list. Go through each topic and ask yourself:

1) Can I Create Content?

Can you create regular quality content?

What type of content could you create? For example, reviews, recipes guides, tutorials, etc.

Also, think of what format you can create your content in, are you good in front of the camera or do you prefer writing? Do you have any editing skills to create videos? (You don’t need to be in front of the camera).

Think about the type of content you are able to create for each niche and the format needed, can you create content?

2) Can You Create Products?

This is vital! In order to really make money online and profit from your niches, you must be able to sell a product.

This can be a digital product like an info product or a physical product.

There are loads of ways in which you can create a product. For physical products, you can drop-ship, use black labeling find a private labeling manufacturer to produce your products.

Its 2019, there a are so many option. Just use google.

The other option are digital or info products. Do you have a skill you could teach? Could you create a course on the subject?

Look into platforms like TeachableThinkific or Udemy. Or for ebooks  ThriveCartSendOwlGumroad or Amazon.

Go through your list and ask yourself if you could create a guide and course or even an ebook for this topic. (or any other product your skill set allows)

A product doesn’t have to be anything complicated. If you are in the fitness niche this could be a training program like ‘Get Abs in 10 Days or a diet plan.

Or if you have the skills you could create apps or themes.

For example, I could create a course on driving traffic online, however, I would find it hard to create my own fashion line.

I’m sure you have seen loads of fitness gurus utilize digital products by selling training courses or program.

Just think about it as creating a piece of content.

Don’t worry if creating products seems overwhelming right now there are loads of tools available online to make it super easy.

How To Find A Profitable Niche – Step 3 Check Out The Competition

So by now, your list should look pretty narrowed now, next we are going to look at competition and potential.

What you want to do now is look at other successful sites in each niche.

What kind of content are they creating? How are they monetizing their sites?

❗️Specifically look for sites that look they are run by one person. ❗️

This step is the most important step. You don’t want to put a lot of time and effort into a blog to find out no one is interested or there is no way to monazite your blog.

🔥 Create a list of blogs and profile you like to use for inspiration later. 🔥

It’s really important that you choose a niche where people are already active. Competition is good.

If there is absolutely no competition it means the niche is dead. Avoid.

Now you should have a pretty decent list of topics and inspiration for your blog. Now you just need to choose a name that reflects your niche. Don’t go for a name to is too narrow, chose a wider name and narrow keywords.

Now that we have done our research, its time to get started.
